24 PLACES YOU CAN CELEBRATE THE 4TH OF JULY IN NORTH TEXAS

This year, July 4th falls on a Thursday, providing an excellent opportunity for various events in the Dallas area to commemorate the 248th anniversary of the United States' independence. Many families will seek out fireworks displays and other celebrations to participate in. With Independence Day falling on a Thursday, many organizations plan events before and after the weekend. Here's an overview of the happenings in the DFW area:

TUESDAY, JULY 2

RED WHITE AND LEWISVILLE

Sounds of Lewisville concludes with DCTA A-train Red White & Lewisville presented by CoServ featuring ESCAPE – The Journey Tribute band and country singer Jade Flores. A low-level fireworks show will take place following this concert. The fireworks will be launched from the roof of the Lewisville Grand Theatre in Old Town.

FRISCO FREEDOM FEST

The City of Frisco’s official two-day Independence Day celebration honors our veterans and military heroes and hosts one of the largest firework finales in North Texas.
